Augustine Jewelry - Where Every Piece Tells a Story

Frequently Asked Questions

The main difference is price. The price is higher for Couture for several reasons:

a) because when it comes to gold, the Couture item is made with pure 10K, 14K, or 18K gold as opposed to a gold filled or gold plated item;

b) Couture items are usually made with sterling silver. However, they are sometimes made with stainless steel because stainless is tarnish resistant;

c) there can be a large price difference among semiprecious stones; and

d) some pendants used on bracelets and necklaces are more expensive than others depending on their constitution.

While some materials are indifferent to water, others are not. We recommend not to get your jewelry wet because of potential detrimental reactions between water (especially salted & chlorinated water) and your jewelry. Same goes for hairsprays and styling agents.

To clean your jewelry, you can purchase specialty jewelry cleaning cloths which can make a huge difference before & after.

When taking your bracelets off, make sure to roll them off rather than pulling!

Keep it stored in small airtight plastic bags made especially for silver storage. The bags are brown and composed of anti-tarnish agents and are available on Amazon and other sites.

Yes to both! Bulk orders require a 4 weeks notice and are subject to availability. Custom orders for 1-5 bracelets require zero notice. For either bulk and/or custom orders, contact us!
